What is KODE ENDPOINT™ ?

KODE ENDPOINT™ is an integrated IT maintenance and endpoint management solution system that facilitates the work of maintenance teams, purchasing department or related parties, which mainly caters to the needs of your IT management enterprises.

How many part of the KODE ENDPOINT™ software?

KODE ENDPOINT™ software is divided into 3 parts:

1. KODE Server – Install on Physical Server or Cloud Server

2. KODE Console – Install on Server or Client

3. KODE Client – Install on Client

How many version of the KODE ENDPOINT™ software?

There are two versions of the KODE ENDPOINT™

1. KODE ENDPOINT™ Lite edition

2. KODE ENDPOINT™ Standard edition

What Are The Differences KODE ENDPOINT™ Lite edition And KODE ENDPOINT™ Standard edition?

Some feature for example user account management, contract management, map, custom report, and etc.

What are the System requirements for KODE ENDPOINT™

KODE Console

• Windows Server 2012 or newer, Windows 10 (including 64-bit)

• Intel XEON E3 Series / 6th Gen Core i5

• 8 GB RAM • 1024 MB HDD

KODE Client

• Windows 7 or newer (including 64-bit)

• 2 GB RAM

• Intel Pentium 4, Intel Core or AMD Athlon

• 100 MB HDD

What types of KODE Server can be used and installed?

You can choose to use and install in two forms.

1. Server of customers who install and maintain themselves.
2. Cloud Server the vendor installs and maintains throughout its lifetime according to the license.

How many KODE consoles can be installed?

You can install KODE Console on unlimited number of machines.

Where to install the KODE Console (Server, Client)?

You can install KODE console at both Server and Client.

It can be installed on the OS that is lower than the requirements specification specified ?

You can be installed, but will not be able to use various functions efficiently.

License

How to Activate License?

Use the product key from the hard copy document to fill it into the License menu on the Console page.

What happens if the license expires?

When the license expires, the program usage will be restricted. Detailed information of the computer that were used to connect to the server will remain but the display thereof will be limited to the number of impressions at 5 machines only.

When renewing the license, is it necessary to install the Agent program on the computer?

It will not be necessary as the program will automatically be fully activated again. Information of the computer used to connect to the server will readjust the display according to the number of licenses renewed.

What to do If unable to install the program or Activate License?

What is the default username and password of KODE ENDPOINT™?

Username and password can be found in the folder or inside the DVD cover.

When is the status bars on Dashboard will alerted?

Orange when hardware usage over 60%.

Red when hardware usage over 90%.

How to add the program in to installation list?

1. Users can add program and create a command for installation by themselves.

2. Notify the service provider of the need to update the list in case of using the cloud server.

How to use Remote Desktop to a different network?

You can use function Remote Desktop (Cloud) function on the KODE Console to connect a different network.

Where is the file sent from the Console to client?

File send to C:\Downloads of client.

KODE CONNECT™ is an easily accessible and versatile software that connects remotely to any Windows operated computer or server. There are no firewall configuration or installation required, complete remote desktop.

2.Agent – Install on Client and use to communicate with console

Can I use KODE CONNECT™ to transfer files?

Yes, you can use KODE CONNECT™ to remote desktop and transfer file.

Why can’t I connect using Remote Desktop?

– Make sure you have internet connection.

– Make sure you have the right PC name or PC number.

Why can't I find or connect to my PC?

Check the following:

  • Is the PC on and awake?
  • Did you enter the right name or IP address?
  • Check out whether you are allowed access to your PC from outside your network.
When I close the Remote Desktop window on my home computer, do my programs continue to run on my office computer?

Yes, if you’re closing the Remote Desktop window on your home computer, it only ends the communication between the two systems, it does not log you off your office system or shut it down.

How secure is the Remote Desktop Service?

KODE CONNECT connects in protected mode using the https protocol (SSL) and adopts advanced measures for encrypting the information exchanged as well as the configuration.
